    My boyfriend and I decided to get a rescue pup a few weeks ago, and we picked up a little boy. We are almost certain he is Basenji mixed with chihuahua, but not 100% on it at the moment. (I want to get a doggy DNA test, he's not so keen on it..) Thought I would post on here, and maybe get some of your opinions on him? His name is Knox, and he's about 5 months old. :) Thank you!

    Thanks to all of you for your kind worlds and welcomes,as soon as my friend translate for me my questions,so they don't get lost in miss spelling and miss understanding i will post them,and of course the pictures of my beautiful little angels :)

    she's precious! I don't know that it gets any easier denying a basenji. Mine is 12 yo and I still can't ignore his sweet brown eyes.

    Big hugs to you for adopting an older basenji. My heart gets broken when I see the senior b's on the BRAT web page. :( So give Pippi a hug for me.

    Hi Kiro, Welcome our neck of the woods. I live just a bit past Emmittsburg in PA so I'm not too far. The Mid-Atlantic Basenji Club meets at the Carroll County Agricultural Center right there in Westminster. Our next meeting is 1 June and there will also be a spring fun match that same day. It starts at 0900. There is a Yahoo group for the club that has info about the event. It's fun and games. It's really neat to see so many basenjis in one place. Hope you can make it. It's a nice club to belong to. Karen
