    just found this site and thought i join up and read up on this special dog, i rescued a basenji/shepard mix a few years ago and i am sooooo in love with this girl, it's not even funny! :)

    thanks for the welcome, and you have no idea how devoted to her i am, and how much affection i love giving her and how much she loves getting it and giving it in return…it's a beautiful thing! :D

    @Nemo: Hey Moth. I hope you and Watson are able to join some of the BCOSW activities in the future. Unfortunately the one we had today was rained out :( but we have some more planned in the near future. What part of Wisconsin are you in? I'm up by Green Bay. Clay Hi Nemo. We are in Madison.     His name is Tommy Bryant, located in Port Orange FL. We got his name from breeders.net. I checked out some other breeders, but most of them had this huge waiting list, and were no where close to Orlando. But I'm really happy with our choice. SHe is turning out to be a very good pup.

    Hello and welcome. I'm sorry to hear your little b is sickly. I wish her a speedy recovery. There are some great folks on this site with some great and helpful information. Hopefully they can provide some insight to your little girl's illness.

    Luzambo, I too had one pass last March. After that I was left with one and said once he passed, I was going to be done with dogs – too much of work and emotional strain. Yep, I was going to be free to... well, to do something. Then I found a little girl related to Brie just 2 weeks later and 6 months later I have yet another. Yes, they're a lot of work at times, but so is most everything in life. I love having them around and the house would be often boring otherwise. I'm sure Pharaoh and my Brie are hanging out in their private club looking down on us saying "what are you guys doing down there?" And with a signature like yours, I don't think you'll be waiting long. Welcome to the forum!
