I was just thinking about names for my dog then it hit me why do/dont people give their dog personafied names like Max or Benji and if any pet is given a personifed name does it make them feel more human?

It's funny that when I think of my dogs, I've named the females with people names, like Lola, Lucy, and Becca, but my male dogs have been common dog names, like Buddy and Joker. I don't know if it means anything, because I speak to all of them like they are human. :)
