Just got my Fetchdog Holiday Catalogue and discovered a B on page 30 modeling a fleece sweater.

She's very cute. Congratulations.

Keep in mind that Basenjis are not that common, which means a Basenji mix would not be that common. That said, the down ears don't necessarily mean anything unless they're never up, and the ears are up in the other shot. So it's possible. The markings are definitely right.

As suggested, if you really want to know a DNA test will be a lot better than guesses.

Hana wags her tail a lot when greeting us, it sort of unrolls out, whips around, curls back up, wiggles and waggles floppily…. I was surprise how much she unrolls it and rolls it back up though, I think depending on her mood. Her happy tail flopping around is the cutest thing ever !!

That sounds really cute. The more I hear about basenjis the more I think no two are the same. LOL

lol usually when you breed a bigger dog to a smaller dog the Male is the tiny one. Its just dangerous to do it the other way around. As far as DNA breed testing I would go for it if I could. But i am just interested in those kinds of tests. We offer them at our clinic but i haven't ever seen results for them.

Oh, I wish there were pictures involved, sounds like they had so much fun.
Otis loves playing with the sheets if I am changing them, but I have never thought of pulling him..might have to give that a try.

Congo looks at himself in the mirror and admires himself from every angle. He checks himself sitting, then he'll turn his back to it and flip his head around, then he checks himself out broadside. After all that he lets out this contented sigh. I am not sure if he thinks its another basenji or if he thinks he is just very good looking.

Jack hates beer, tho all my husbands Navy friends try to get jack drunk…(men lol) he LOVES milk tho! He loves ice cubes too...its funny to watch him eat them...esp. when they get too cold, lol
