@sanjibasenji Sanji’s brother Zulu has been the same. For the past month he’s been really whiny which he never was before. Doesn’t want to listen like he did before and he’s constantly sniffing his house sister’s hiny (and both of them are fixed. His new reactions might be starting later than yours since we’re basically just starting our fall down here on the Arizona/Mexican border. We went to a swap meet yesterday and it was almost embarrassing by the constant whining.

Wyoming, but close!

We just returned a couple days ago from a 3 week cross- country trip with our two (2.5 y/o and 7 months) puppers. It was Zulu’s first big trip and he did well. We’d stop about every 3-4 hours for potty and stretches. We camp in a truck camper so there were lots of activities. (One adventure we didn’t care for was when he discovered that mountain cattle poop was tasty ugh). They were really interested in the marmots and didn’t know what to think of them since they were almost the same size. They were very wary, not sure if they were a big squirrel or what lol!

@sanjibasenji Zulu doesn’t mind the rain either but Teki thinks it’s going to kill her!

@donc Zulu trashed his first cone even before we picked him up from the vet. When we picked him up, I just took the second one off right away. I do have a big baby onsie for backup in case he starts licking

@zande could you give me the pantyhose ideas too as we’re going to be needing something soon. Thanks!

Teki’s doing Fast Cat next month for the first time at age 2 1/2. I’d really like to see how Zulu would do because he’s so fast but it’s AKC sponsored and you must be at least one year of age

Yes, Zulu’s a puppy and will be 4 months on the 19th (the R&W). Teki is overweight. I actually have an appointment next week for a full thyroid panel. She just keeps putting on more weight despite our cutting down her food the last few months and limiting treats. We thought with her being so crazy active with the new puppy would help but so far not

I hope that he’s just an early developer. He doesn’t look out of proportion at all and good weight for his body and bones.

We just weighed Zulu and he’s 19 pounds! He was born 12/19/20. Does that even sound right?

@sanjibasenji I just saw this! Awesome! Go Sanji! Zulu doesn’t really hate the rain but he did walk into my brother’s pond yesterday. Of course I didn’t have my camera ugh

We have a big lean to next to the house. Really helps with rain or in the winter with snow
