I always ask people whether they like cats. I tell them a Basenji is a lot like a cat in a dog's body. They're smart, know what you want, but prefer to please themselves rather than you. Then I give them my tag line (which I use for Arabian horses as well) ๐

Hello Winnie,
welcome to the forum, i hope you enjoy it here.
Lovely pics of Toro, i can certainly see the Basenji in him, he looks so cute in the picture where he's sat on a cushion.
We have a Basenji girl Pup, nearly 9 months now called Malaika. -
Welcome to the forum, Winnie and Toro!
He's a cutie, obviously at that gangly stage, all legs and ears!Terry

Winnie and Toro, welcome onboard, glad you've found us. I couldn't see the pics, but I am sure he looks darling..will try later again.

Welcome Winnie and Toro. We look forward to hearing about Toro. Do you know what he was crossed with? Maybe a whippet or a greyhound? I was just thinking that because he is so fine boned.
-
Welcome to you both and thank you for the delightful pictures.
-
Wow, he basically looks like a Basenji, just extra-stretched.
Welcome!

Hello. I am new here as well. I can't see your pictures from work but I will look at them when I get home tonight.

Nice to meet you all!
Hi Kipawa , I am not sure what breed he was crossed with. He was our first pet ever.
Toro is very naughty and aggresive , he bite me twice! Anyone can give me some advice, how to train him to behave good? Thanks!
