Does anybody have any guess as to what the number of Basenjis in United States might be? Or the total population of Basenjis in the world? Just curious.

I didn't "research your pedigree"... I found the woman you said was the breeder.

Brat most certainly does NOT prohibit people in apartments, townhouses, cities or anywhere from getting a dog. I'd really hate for someone to read your misinformation and not apply.

I read your blog and find it kind of confusing and ….. your comment about "messing with ..." hmmmmmmm....

Anyhow, yes, it is so cool when you come across another basenji, because they totally understand each other and how they want to play. We were fortunate once to have another basenji play chase with Kipawa at a dog park. I just don't think there are many basenjis in the Lower Mainland. 😞

Oh Tiva, thanks for sharing!

I think I'm too shy to do that though. Actually, I'm here for an academic conference… I've still got one more day of "business" to take care of, then I have a week afterwards to explore. If I bump into those basenjis again, you're right, maybe I should just ask.

I did find a dog park close to where I'm staying. I think I'll go down there one afternoon and just hang out for a little bit... I miss my fur babies badly, but my partner is back in California taking care of them. I'll be home soon.
