I was thinking ( doesn't happen that often !!! )

I see a previous thread that the guys in Scotland has a Basenji meet. What a good idea. So how about all us Souterhn Folks doing the same. I live in Essex in the South East.

Any takers ? !!!!!

Sounds a brilliant idea - I was quite jealous of the Scottish meet-up but Essex is just too far for me, sorry. I hope you get lots of takers any way.

I was quite jealous too! There seem to be lots of B's in Scotland.

Julie and I will be at the East of England showground next month for a championship show, we are taking the caravan so will be staying for almost a week.

Where in Essex are you?

I am over near Chelmsford in Essex, but there aren't many of us I fear :(

The Basenji Club of Great Britain will be holding their Championship show at Brampton, near Huntingdon Saturday 18 September. Maybe you could make it there. You would meet lots of Basenji peeps from all over.

You would have to enter your dog either to show or not for competition if you want to bring him/her. The entries close Mon 9 August.

Yep I've got that one on my calender, been to that one before.

I bring the whole clan with me anyway they love it over there lol !!! I caught up with most of my friends in Baz-J's at Windsor a few weeks ago, good day it was too with Coopers' relations doing really well !!!!

My friend in Torrington has two Basenjis next door so I'll try to contact them too.
