Happy Belated Birthday! He is so gorgeous and hides it so well. Hardly any grays at all!
Today's Pics Part 1 - Ice Cream and Horses
-
I have been on a pic frenzy today So im going to post the pics seperately as theres hundreds  Anyway, on this thread we will have Maya pigging out on ice cream and then Maya, Riley and Delilah with the horses earlier this evening.. Might be some more horsey ones on the next thread as im just posting them in the order they come off the camera lol!! But anyway, enjoy
Firstly, Maya enjoying some ice cream, and a couple with Delilah in
And having a chew on the lid!
Horses

The last pic is great! Very nice to see how they interact
-
I love the last picture. Basenjis seem to be never afraid of the larger animalsβ¦
-
I'm always amazed at the tiniest of fences (roping, one piece of wood, etc) can stop a horse from going further. A rope, on the other hand, for a basenji would be 1) jumpable and 2) a toy!
-
Are they your horses? Love the pics great interaction between them too
-
Maya looks like she is enjoying the lid as much as the ice cream
I agree it's lovely to see the Dogs and Horses so comfortable together. -
Yes, they are my horses Infact, Charlie (the little bay one!) and I are celebrating our 13 year anniversary today!!!lol Cant believe I have had him that longβ¦!
The dogs love them though, and I am able to walk them in the woods and on the farmland surrounding the horses fields so its ideal really
And re the fencing... It does help to have a few volts of electricity going through it to keep the horses behind it
I think the lid was more fun than the ice cream for maya, hours of entertainment!!

The pics with the horses are great. The first time Buddy saw a horse we were hiking on a thin trail and he freaked out. Now that we have passed numerous horses hiking over the past year it's no big deal.

Great pictures..I love the last one as well..
We have horses in our neighborhood and Otis several times would go up to the fence and sniff hi to this one paint named Annie, until Annie's best friend and pasture mate, Star Buck, came along..a miniature goat..forget it, all Otis wanted to do was play with it, no interest what so ever in the horse anymore. So cute while it lasted though.
