    Hi Gretchen. CBR in Colorado does have a pair of R&W seven year-old siblings: Cairo and Cleo. However, they would have to be adopted together. Here is their website: http://www.coloradobasenjirescue.org/adoptable.shtml. However, CBR is not moving doggies right now due to the COVID -19 issue. I am looking for a male puppy or very young male right now. Just not happening. Looks like patience is key right now :0)

    I am very interrested in helping you and her. I live in Richmond, Va and had to put my Baby Girl down this past Labor Day. She was 11 shy of her 16 and one-half birthday. I got her when she was 4 months old. I am a stay at home mom and would have plenty of time to spend with her.     I have a cat and have added two Basenjis since she and I came together. She is in charge and I encourage her to "train" the dogs. Our male (Guppy a BRAT rescue) has given her a little more trouble than most dogs (I guess she gives him a pass because he's cute-I wish she wouldn't though!). We have our moments (Guppy is a teenager and living up to the name Mr. Grumpy Pants) but we seem to be getting along just fine.

    This boy is no longer available. Fortunately for him, the original owners wanted to continue working with him instead of returning him. He is doing well and still there.
