@KhaiPan Pam and I are both stubborn opinionated people and without mutual respect, we'd be in constant battle. Instead, I love her. I watch her utter devotion to the dogs, to doing things right, to helping anyone who needs help. She isn't stuck in any idea... given proof and research, she'll reconsider. We are picking up our 4-year old Basenji rescue this coming weekend, and I would like to have a vet lined up for him as soon as possible. In my former life, I worked as a vet tech, so I have a good base of knowledge to help me pick out a good practice, but what I don't know is whether there is a practice in this area that has a good deal of experience with Basenjis. Philly and its burbs are home to lots and lots of vet practices, so a little help in narrowing them down would be very helpful. Thanks!
