Thanks everyone for the encouraging words! Yes Rescuing is the best option. Sure it is a no kill shelter but it makes room for new dogs to be rescued and it puts her in a wonderful home! She is SLOWLY coming along. She likes to try to come up in my lap now. Shes a wonderful lil dog and Anubis LOVES having someone his size around. She "Smiles" she will get excited and show all of her teeth and wag her tail…I try to get pics but she always gets scared of the camera.

Your pup is beautiful and I love his name, as it was the name of our best, smartest and devoted dog ever! We are getting our first Basenji in 5 weeks and we are very excited.
Clan Bruce here! -
Thank you! We liked the name Milo as that was our first Ridgeback's dad's name. Milo suits our Basenji as it sounds cheeky which he certainly is!
You will be looking forward to your new puppy. Milo is our first basenji too, but i can't imagine being without one now. I am you could say Basenjified now

Milo's dad is American, his mum, Swedish, and he was born in England, not bad eh?

We're just back from another ringcraft session. Not too bad but still got lots of work to do. Milo not bad on the floor once he settles down but still really unsettled on the table. Time and patience i think
Thanks Scott, will be nice to speak next time at same venue.
