There are events in May, June, Aug and Oct that I know of, may be able to make the June events too if my whippet girl goes in season early and is ready to run by then. Do do more coursing than racing, looking at the CKC Coursing events only at this time as I want to be able to run both the basenjis and whippets.

yess it was a great day 😃 cant wait to see the pictures of Job ( Janneke's boyfriend ) that he made from our dogs too!
we only took our galgo and 2 ibizans to the coursing, that gives us all our hands full enough haha the basenjis and our oldest ibizan hound can come the next time, allthough they enjoy the racing track too! ( the settlement of the racing track allows us to take all dogs at the same time and not having our hands full with these 6 haha )

I loved to see Barry (the galgo) run.. he ran beautiful…. 😃
And yes... I liked Cy and Smitty also... 😃

Could you put her in a pen behind the counter? Or section off an area for her. That way she could be with you, socialize, be the store mascot but not be out in the store where she could slip out the door.

i dont think that hub will want to change the disposition of things…she'd just learn how to jump over the counter as soon as she figures it out!!!:D

I do something similar to that, Quercus. It is almost like a game. I take a small piece of a treat and make him sit next to the door. Then, when I am ready to go, I toss it across the room and he goes running after it. By the time he finds and eats it, I am gone. Of course, I am in the same stages of leaving him for short periods (no more than 15 minutes- very beginning) and seeing how he does with not tearing the house completely apart.
