    Cody snores more quietly but then recently at 2 am (of course) woke me up doing a full throated yodel. Since he almost never makes noise this startled me out of bed an into the living room where he was asleep. He was just finishing his yodel, blinked his eyes a couple of times and curled back up and went to sleep.

    That is so funny.

    Looks can be so deceiving- here is an article of a woman who adopted a rescue dog in N.J. Dog looks like a basenji - even her vet thought it might be basenji. She did an Embark DNA test - no basenji. Turned out the dog was a mixture of Mountain Cur, Rat Terrier, Beagle, and Boston Terrier. link text

    @weedtrek Possibly Basenji mix, nose looks a bit wider and the eyes are less oval. Could well be a Basenji mix though.

    @ktiefen1 You would be correct!! Potty Training eventually came easy because ours is so treat motivated....lol. Basic obedience is a challenge for us......ahe is definitely her own girl....and please dont disturb her sleep. You could lose a limb. ::)))))

    Oh Barklessdog, you are a brave person. I must now stand with you in insane-solidarity and admit I bought it too. It is awful but when you get the line "we couldn't say goodbye so we took him home" part, you know you got to help support the woman. lol

    @nobarkus: We make jokes about our Bs snoring but it's actually not a good thing. He may have allergies to something in his diet. Did you change it lately? No I have had him on the same dog food for 2 yrs. I cant think of what he'd be allergic to….hmmm...
