    We are meeting again this coming Sunday at 4:30 pm, a little later in the day to avoid the mid-day heat, at Torrey Highlands dog park.

    All San Diego area basenjis welcome! We're having a potluck picnic afterwards, though I'm still a little unsure how peacefully bbq and a bunch of basenjis goes together. :rolleyes:

    I'm hoping to bring TWO b's this time, if all goes as planned this week.

    Catt…with no ordinary dogs!

    I will check out the Facebook page. There is a nice dog park in Encinitas, but I'm not sure how far you are from the area.

With the COVID-19 virus meetups were on hiatus but now that some dog parks are opening up meetups for Basenjis are starting up again. I live in San Diego so I really have to think about driving 1.5 hours with 2 senior Basenjis. Have fun! Lynn Bilotta

    There will be at least four basenjis at Ed Levin Park in Milpitas this Sunday from 11am. My husband and I have two, and a colleague of his has two as well. If any others would care to join us, it would be great to see you! (The park is 3100 Calaveras Rd Milpitas. There is an entrance fee for the park, but I think it's worth it, it's a really nice park, and the off leash dog enclosures are some of the nicest in the area. The dog park itself is a little tricky to find - ask at the booth, or email me if you'd like directions ) Pics to follow!

    The organized meetups have been disjointed for the past few months. Everyone's schedules seemed to be busy - lots of travel, new babies, etc. The last big group meetup was also at Fiesta, I think. We had 7 basenjis there and they were a hoot running up and down the hills, the beach and through the grass and terrorizing bigger dogs. We meet Dan & Tess and their Cairo frequently at Fiesta Island but usually by texting an hour or two before we meet. It just seems tough lately for any of us to plan ahead. If you still have my email let me know if you'd like to join us sometime.
