    Decided to start a new thread for this since its in a different location & day & since our last thread got a little, urm, off topic so to speak.

    Public Meetup Location: Lianne Levitan/Brook Run Dog Park
    Address: 4770 North Peachtree Rd.
    Dunwoody, GA 30338
    Planned date and time: Friday July 4th & 11 am

    Additional details:

    The dog park is located in the very back of this complex. You will pass a playground, and a skatepark & then buildings & fields for about 1/2 a mile before you get to it. Completely enclosed, there is only one park for all sized dogs. Water is not provided on site, so if your dog is a thirsty dog, bring some water for it. A bucket is provided & lots of people bring water, so there is usually plenty. However, on busy days the bucket can get pretty nasty so we sometimes bring our own.

    Dear Laura, I am so sad to hear of your loss. The awful pain we feel when a pet dies is a reflection of the intensity of the love we had for them. Please allow yourself time to be sad and grieve. Savannah will probably be sad as well. Judy

    We live outside Jacksonville,Fl. but I have a son in Savannah that I visit. Seren Jane and I would love to meet with other Basenji's and their owners. How about when it gets a bit warmer? Keep in touch and let me know when we can meet up. :) My cousin who lives nearby has recently taken in a rescue Basenji perhaps she would bring Lily too. Lily has Fanconi, but is on medication and doing well. My cousin previously had 2 Basenji's until they passed away a few years ago.
