    37th Annual Spring Fun Match on Sunday, June 1st
    Carroll County Agricultural Center
    Westminster, MD
    (An indoor event - 9am Registration)

    Events to include:
    CGC- Canine Good Citizen Evaluations
    Rally Obedience Demonstrations
    Micro Chip & Tattoo Clinics
    Blood Drawing for Fanconi Testing
    Conformation and Fun Classes
    The "Senji" Store & Raffle
    Pot Luck Lunch

    For Information, Volunteer, or Donations:
    (well, send me a PM and I will give you the event coordinator's name and info)

    I'm so excited! I just moved to caroll county this week! and I've been wanting to meet people and other hennis for so long!!! I will most certainly be at the MD event! IM sure kiro will be elated! Like i have said before, she hasn't meet any other hennis since she was separated from her family a 1+ ago :( i cant wait!!!!!!

    What are these events? will we be able to participate? cost? how hard? preparation?

    My and my girl are both very active and love to play…... it will be so nice to have other to play with!!!!!

    That's great news!! I love meeting up with other Basenji's. They're just so neat. I missed last year's event– Too bad BasenjiBoy isn't on the forum anymore-- he would be able to tell you more about how it goes. I emailed the contact to see about exact costs- but I haven't heard back yet...

    (An indoor event - 9am Registration)

    If you want to do the CGC Trial, you have to pre-register by May 24th. It's $10 per dog. The other events you can register for the day of the event (or you can pre-register).

    Lunch- snacks and drinks will be available. Please donate a food item to help provide a variety of foods for the lunch menu.

    We're thinking about having another lure coursing fundraiser in November. It was so much fun this last time. Here is the photo album from the photographer. Zoni - she's a natural, can't wait to run her for real.     We are still in Reno but there is an even better dog park. I don't know which side of town you are located but it is definitly worth it. It is located in Hidden Valley-its called the Link Piazzo Dog park and it is fenced all the way around and they have a small dogs side and a large dogs side. I usually take Congo there and there is another B there that is a red and white B named Misty. I have had some problems up in Rancho San Rafael, especially since it is not fenced in and McCarran BLVD is right there.

    The gang in the picture "Basenji and rescue friends" where certainly entertaining but at the same time sad. One of the club members works for a Vet. Puppy mills bring in dogs for various reasons and sometimes after the Vet care is completed the Puppy mills figure they have too large of a bill and just don't come back to pick them up. This lady takes them in and she keeps them with her Basenji's. The Pug had both legs broken, and currently cannot use it's front legs, but somehow get's around…....it's a touch sad to watch. The little Chi wha wha, had a broken leg and was in a cast. Hopefully it will heal correctly and it can walk without problem.....they just don't know. Good to know there's folks that have a kind heart and are willing to take in such sad cases that no one else wants. My son and I couldn't help looking at them in there and comparing them to the toys on the Isle of misfit toys from the Christmas cartoon. They really where cute with they're basenji foster mom.

    Good job to all the workers and planners - these things don't go on by magic but lots of hard work. I wish I could've been there but as we all know "life is what happens when we're making other plans." Congrats to all winners - and congrats to all who participated - after all you can't win if you don't play. Thanks for playing!
