Had a Tri Boy and his blue eyed girlfriend stop by Basenji Park.:D
They where BRAT rescue dogs on they're way through the area, my wife drove them to western PA and handed them off. Very nice pair.:)

Aw, how sweet they seem. Pretty dogs…her blue eyes are so piercing. Mrs. BBoy (and Mr., of course) are so great for the B community!

Wow…that is interesting! I thought BRAT didn't 'do' basenji mixes. I have seen a purebred B with truly blue eyes. But not with that sable/grizzled coat color. Looks like a husky/Bmix. She looks quite a bit bigger than the tri boy too.

We've had some interesting discussions about his. My son claims it's not a mix. It really looked all Basenji, except for the eyes and different coloring on the coat.

I would agree that Mr. & Mrs. Basenji Boy are great for our Basenji rescues, we are so fortunate to have them. They go out of their way to help out these wonderful dogs. Thanks so much for what you do,:D :D :D :D youngandtired

Those eyes are gorgeous! I thought husky as well when I saw her beautiful eyes. Either way, they are both beautiful dogs & I'm happy to hear they have found new homes :)

P.S. These rescues are beautiful, never heard of a purebreed blue-eyed Basenji!!! Beautiful!Thank You for the kind words, we just love these dogs. We don't have any small children or grandchildren, so we really don't mind doing what we can, they are so special to us.
It's a Basenji world and we're all living in it!!!!:D
