    Hello Chealsie508, First off, very lovely pics. I am no basenji expert, but have come to the realization that Bs can at times be a bit disobedient as far as listening to commands go. Me and my B are currently in obedience class and she is towards the bottom of the class (during class…but much better at home)! I would try and redirect Oakley when he wants to nip with giving him an appropriate toy for that activity...be consistent. Hormones could be a factor and I agree he is in his terrible 2s and testing you and your limits, perhaps trying to be the dominant pack leader. He may just be playing and doesn't realize he is hurting you...pull away and say OWWW real loud every time. With licking the tops of soda cans, I am a little lost there since I have not witnessed such behavior or at least not with such focus...I know it sounds easy but also try and redirect the activity with something else Oakley may like...when he goes for the can tell him to sit, praise him "good sit" and treat, then walk away.     Well.. tonight we had a 30 min. training to practice the weave poles. Tillo did ok. He was more excited than normal when we got out of the car and he had a big ridge when we walked to the field, but we were there 30 min before we started, so he was all calmed down at the beginning of the training :) I asked the trainer what he is going to do with Tillo and the Shar pei and he isn't sure yet.. :confused: This wednesday he will have a look and discuss it with the other trainers. He said that there is always a possibility that Tillo will be in a group with a male he doesn't like… so he doesn't think it's necessary to change the group. I told him I will quit and look for another training if he doesn't change something.. We'll see.. we'll see...

    @BDawg: If anyone wants to train my sled dog to do this…!! :) Miles thinks he's pulling a team when we go for a walk!! That is amazing!! Makes me want to get a clicker. Maybe you should get one of these to have the "reel fun". [image: D_gg14_Memo_1.jpg] Regards, Esther

    The absolute worst thing about this time change (aside from the lessened amount of daylight walk time), is that Stormie and Nikki were so used to their dinner being served at 6:30 PM. Now they start pesting me at 5:00 PM for dinner and they put on those, "PLEASE MOM! We're STARVING and wasting away to practically NOTHING" eyes! Ha! Little rugrats is putting it nicely! :D ;)
