    IMO, now would be a good time for Gooby and you to attend a Puppy Class. They will teach you commands like "leave it" and many more obedience commands followed up with a very high value treat. One much too yummy than that old goose poop! :)

    The B I am fostering came with a de-stuffed…um...thing (I really couldn't tell you what it once was). When she doesn't get her way she will BAROOOOOO at us as loud as she can and then grab the stuffy and shake, shake, shake it and throw it in our general direction. If she could say "so there', I know she would.

    Mine like the Buster Cube, and similar balls that hold kibble. Also stuffed animals (garage sales, thrift stores), and the anmials that make repeating noises with a squeeze. Nicky likes baby toys, like the ones that you pull a cord and it plays music. They have favotire stuffed toys they have had for years, and others die quickly. Nicky loves to steal my shoes and eat them, my husband bought her a purse of her own at a garage sale, lovely leather. She has been slowly working on it for many months, knows it is HERS. Mine have almost never liked real dog toys. Anne in Tampa

    @YodelDogs: Raw soup bones from the grocery store. I have the "butcher" cut them into 1 1/2 inch lengths so they are too large to crack open and small enough for the dog to get all the marrow out. After they have been licked and chewed up and are smelling "funky", I boil them which sterilizes them. They can then be kept "forever". Mine also lone the hard Nylabones, preferably the dinosaur shaped ones. The poor things get decapitated rather quickly though. :p Too funny! These two things, soup bones and dino bones, are the only things that my two B's LOVE! I would also add the Galileo bone made by Nylabones is super sturdy too. :)

    Oh yes, I've stepped on my fair share of hooves in the night, in the morning, in the afternoon… when they seem pretty well-chewed on, I toss 'em.

    All these posts are hysterical…I am crying laughing about the tampon! We had that happen before too, except [[I]stop reading here if you are squeamish]she passed it and the string was stuck!     We just bought the tricky treat ball and she has not stopped playing with it for over 20 minutes, this thing is great. We had a buster ball before but it was made of hard plastic and was really loud. She loved orka toys when she was a puppy, but chews them up way too quickly now. She also loves Nylabones, especially the great big one that looks like a femur.
