    Email me privately - address in websites on signature block, but I warn you - Covid has brought Basenji would-be puppy owners out in droves and the few breeders who are having a litter this winter have full waiting lists. Two breeders I know have started on a list for the winter of 2021, inviting prospective owners to meet and become acquainted with Basenjis. I have emails from several people who have already put themselves onto the Rescue waiting list. . . in case a Basenji turns out to be too much once (if) restrictions are lifted. Anyway - we are once more in full Lockdown - and I am just praying they don't close the carparks to the (porous) woods again like they did last time, leaving loads of us scrabbling for a parking spot on the main road close to one of the holes into the forest.

    @dwilliams: Sorry for inconvenience-Updated website profile, accidently lost half while doing so, but her number is HP31186401- I guess My mishap has lead to paperwork being too recent to show up. And meant to respond to this earlier, depends on who they go to and specifics on spade/neuter & AKC 'limited'. Was this a planned breeding? Only reason I ask is that she is pretty young (only 1 1/2yrs) to be bred. And thanks for the AKC number. You might want to send the information to Sally for the pedigree site, since seems she is not there yet. Who is her sire and dam? http://www.pedigrees.zandebasenjis.com/search.html

    @jmcduff: We were able to pickup Tyson from Kelli and brought him home on Monday. His new buddies Chevy (Tri-female) and Chase (RW-male) are beginning to accept Tyson into our home. Chase has no problem but Chevy is very protective of us and very bitchy toward Tyson. After two days she is getting better. Chase he doesn't care he just goes with the flow. The first night was interesting but we made it through. Our B's sleep in our bed and Chevy wasn't too happy about having to share with Tyson. She doesn't bother him when they are outside together it is mostly inside our house which she is very protective. I have attached a picture of all them together. Ha! Her body language says it all!!! Good luck, and I hope things get better and better! Beautiful dog family there!

    People definately need to make sure that, that is stated in the contract before buying a puppy because you never do know.
