Good to hear!
Posting Personal Information
-
This is a discussion about forum rules specifically related to posting personal (contact) information.
-
@helle-devi I edited your posts by deleting the phone numbers you posted in your recommendations. Posting personal information on a public forum can be dangerous. It is addressed in our Forum Rules under the heading "POSTING PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION". If you have any questions, please contact me via the chat button on my profile page. (thanks)

Another thing that I disagree with this Forum and have for over 10yrs.. if people want to supply their information then they should be able to... again another reason that I refused to me moderator.... I do not agree with the restrictions of this Forum including that they "own" pictures post...

I understand, but... posting someone else's personal contact information... well, I felt like it should come off. Of course, you can go to anyone's profile page and contact them through the chat feature for a more secure, private discussion. And, if you don't want anyone contacting you through the chat, you can turn it "off" as well.

@helle-devi I prefer to discuss things like this privately, but I wasn't able to open a chat with you. (You have your chat settings turned "off".) Part of the reason I deleted the phone#'s directly relates to the rules. The other part of the reason was because it wasn't your own information. TBH, I would have deleted your information, too.
I appreciate that the information is available elsewhere online, that will make it easier for Genny to find for herself. Maybe just links to the related websites would work better(?).
Really, this comes down to, "I didn't make the rules."
