@cleopatra888 said in Looking to adopt a Basenji - Michigan or surrounding states.: Hello. I live in Tehkummah and very interested to see if you still have this Basenji available. I am trying my luck. Thanks in advance. Cliff Stobra01 responded: Molly, who is located near you... Stobra01 says that >>Molly has gone to All Heart Pet Rescue in Powassan, Ontario, juat outside of North Bay. They have a Facebook page<< I am not sure if this is the right group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/8543502122/ but seems right for finding help on a rescue.

Hi Roxanne, if you are still looking for a basenji, you may want to go to www.basenjirescue.org- a great group of volunteers who rescue and place basenjis. :)

Figula as you live in Peterborough just to let you know that it is our club show on 28th March (Sunday) We are the Basenji Owners and Breeders Association and you are very welcome to come along. If you come at about midday, you could have lunch with some Basenji people and say hallo to us and our dogs. The venue is Alconbury Village Hall. If you're interested I can send you details.

Sometimes BRAT will transport or ship the dog if meeting is out of the question, shipping at your expense..but that is so worth it, I think.
