Tampa?

Basenji Meetups & Events
  • I remember reading on here about a Tampa meet-up at a dog park on Sundays. Does that still happen? If so I would love to bring my boy Finn. He is just over 8 months and very playful. I'm down in Sarasota so I probably couldn't make it a regular thing but I'd love to come every once in a while and hopefully tomorrow.

I have a 1 year old female B that would love to play. Haven’t seen any Bs in this area. I live close to NOVA so if you set up a date I’ll gladly bring her to a dog park!

Found this thread and figured I would respond. I have an almost 1yr old Male (27 November) and would be interested in meeting up with other Basenji owners and their dogs. I live near Quantico and quite honestly don't see any other Basenjis ever. Will drive to most parks in the NOVA area.

Just saw your post, I don't visit Forum very often. Yes indeed we still meet up every Sunday at West Park dog park. While some say they are 'hypoalergenic' they still have fur and some have dander so it's good to check. You may find differences in individual dogs. We meet between 11 and 2-ish. Anne

These are wonderful action photos! So glad you're sharing them. Would be nice to take my kids to a park like this. I'm going to have to do some investigation in my part of the world.
