Possible Fake Ads for Basenji Puppies

Basenji Puppy Pen
  • While searching through Oodle, I found four different ads that had Basenji pups for sale. The website it went to was love2trade.com. The ads were similar as the price was either under $300 or not listed which were red flags to me and the locations were different. Would anyone have contacted them? I was wondering if these were fake ads.

Please be careful when answering ads.

  • You may be right, Jennifer. Looks like the same green background on some of them but they are in different states?

  • Hello, yes I nearly got taken in by one posting in the UK with the same green background and advertised for ?300. They said they would ship the puppy unseen, very strange. Buyers beware.

@giza1: Heck, I never fed my puppies mush either, just softened kibble. And it didn't seem to take very long before the pups would be sitting in the mom's dog dish chewing on her dry kibble. -Joanne When you think about it… softened kibble is mush.... just all depends on how you offer it. And I only do "mush" between 3 to 4 wks after that it is just softened kibble... and in the end.. that is mush

My Basenji doesn't have slaves, he has staff! :) And he lets us know when our work isn't up to snuff.

L'Ox is on the small side. He is only about 16.5 inches at the withers. He may gain a little more height and will probably continue to fill out for next couple of years but he will always be a small male.

We drove out to Indiana and met with the BCOSW Rescue Coordinator on Friday. Vixen's new name is Daisy. She is 9 weeks old already. I was successful uploading just a few photos into Photobucket. These photos were taken at the pet friendly hotel. We spent Thursday night there, anticipating the Friday morning union. Daisy is so sweet. [image: DukeDaisy002.jpg] Here you can see the banter begin in the hotel room. Lisa & Wanda from the BCOSW helped with their introduction . . . It continues until they're napping or in their crates. Duke is real pushy intervening attention by us with Daisy. Even though he gets more than his fair share of love & attention. Does anyone know how long this will last? Any suggestions? Daisy gets right back in Duke's face though. She is not afraid of him. He puts his teeth on her, I get nervous, because he is so much bigger and stronger than her. She goes after his stubby tail. He springs up on the sofa to get out of her way. She goes under the sofa to get out of his way. Then they're off and running again. The dynamic in our home has once again changed. I hope that Duke will calm down again. [image: DukeDaisy003.jpg] [image: DukeDaisy005.jpg]
