What's up with non-Basenji posts?

This might not be the proper place to ask this - but what is up with all of these posts that end up being advertisements for things that have NOTHING to do with Basenjis? It looks like the posters are members - but really, when I come here, I don't want to read about real estate or Chinese imports! Just curious if anyone knows whether there is anyone monitoring the boards.

it's just spammers. if you see one you are supposed to flag it as spam so the moderators can deal with it. it's that exclamation point in the corner
