What's up with non-Basenji posts?

Show Off Your Dog
  • This might not be the proper place to ask this - but what is up with all of these posts that end up being advertisements for things that have NOTHING to do with Basenjis? It looks like the posters are members - but really, when I come here, I don't want to read about real estate or Chinese imports! Just curious if anyone knows whether there is anyone monitoring the boards.
    Thanks!

  • it's just spammers. if you see one you are supposed to flag it as spam so the moderators can deal with it. it's that exclamation point in the corner

Keep in mind, unless you correct them "in the act" they really have no clue that they have done something wrong, or more to the point "what they did wrong"…. shredding is pretty natural to a Basenji

Yep, I spent about 3 days trying to come up with names, searching online and asking my parents and brother for names all we came up with was Olivia, so her final name will be either "One in a million" Olivia Palito or Olivia Palito "One in a million" (Olivia Palito is the portuguese name for Olive in Popeye[Palito means toothpick]) I have a few more photos of her but won't be uploading them today so maybe tomorrow I'll upload some !

You can have some of the snow here! It has't stopped snowing in about a week now. When the dogs go out to chase the squirrel they are bounding through snow up to their backs!

@TMartin: Looks like he did wonderful! In Loki's puppy class we did the same exercise, with the peanut, regular exercise balls, and barrels placed on their side and with something underneath while upright to make it wobbly. One of the pics I posted of Loki months ago is of him on the peanut. A regular exercise ball is more challenging as you first need to make sure you have a good hold on it and then gradually loosen your hold so it wobbles however much the dog can handle at the time. And of course it is far more unstable than the peanut. I haven't ordered the peanut yet, but now that you are talking about the regular exercise ball, I might go for that instead, because I can use it to stretch out my lower back.

Last year we bought a catnip mouse for our cat, but Samantha likes to play with them more than the cat does!
