  • WOW! Pat, thank you for this link to the pedigree site. Yes, I found her sire, but definately not her dam. Well, only time will tell to see if I get anything more. I didn't want to show and breed anyway, but it's nice for health and temperament purposes to know the background of what you're getting. Binti is a delight and I am pleased with her so long as I can stay on top of her desire to be dominant. I need to treat her more like a dog and less like a baby. But she's so darn cuddly!!

  • I am sure you will enjoy your girl…. and yes for sure, more like a dog!!!! But I hear you about "cuddly"!

    Welcome! I have seen red and white Shibas that looked just like a long haired basenji. You could have a shiba-basenji mix, perhaps. He is a very cute dog, I see why you are in love. They are hard to resist! For about $60 there is a DNA test if you are really curious…..
