i must have glanced up at the tv at just the right moment - a cute little tri with a fancy dog house was on selling new york.

i can't seem to get a direct link, but the show is here:

and the episode is 'dream homes' - the basenji appears about 3:30 into the episode.

Paco used to dig on the bed, but we started just taking him off the bed each time he did it. We also had to "teach" him how to dig in the sand at the beach…strange!

He still digs at his dog bed, which he thoroughly de-fluffed his second week with us. I let him dig at that all he wants: I don't plan to replace it until it's literally in tatters.

our felakuti goes barooooooo when he is very very happy. 🙂 we decided to get that little female basenji at Debbie's Petland, the one with the 5 toes..We have named her Queen Nyahbinghi after a warrior queen of the 19th century in Uganda…her call name is Nyah. 🙂 so now we have two lovedoveys. 🙂

Good luck with your pup….. hopefully you got her for a reasonable price... I would be interested to know if AKC papers came with her... and what the breeding is, if available.... also would hope that with the time she spent in the Pet Store, this will show them that a Basenji is not a good business decision.....
