Basenji clothing for winter

    My sister loves knitting and has offered to make Kipawa a nice warm sweater (she mentioned cashmere!). She has asked me to provide some pictures of basenjis wearing their winter wardrobes.

    I would greatly appreciate it if those in the cooler climates could post a picture here so my sis can get some ideas.

    She is really cute though I don't see Basenji. Like Shirley said, only a DNA can tell you much for certain.

    No idea, sometimes with mixes it's so hard to tell what the parentage is. I do think that your dog's head is a bit more refined than many of the pit mixes i've seen.

    I agree with the others that although he seems to have Basenji in him - his head is def. not Basenji. As for the leg I'd have it amputated if it troubles him - He'll cope with 3 legs I'm sure, but certainly consult a specialist first. Please keep us updated.

    Oh yeah, he looks way more like a b-mix to me than a lot of the pups listed as basenjis on Petfinder. And they mention he's not a barker. What a cutie! Someone go get this guy! :D
