  • So.. how did it go..?

  • Mody was very very very successful! 😃

    Congrats again! 😉

  • Good luck with the show! Here in the UK we have Ringcraft classes. These are invaluable to training for shows. You can do as much individual training at home but you really need your dog to be socialised with other dogs and people. I have my first Basenji who is 15 weeks old and he has been to two ringcraft classes, last week but he really needed to get used to the distraction of the other dogs and to be used to being touched by strangers on the table. Milo was all over the place with the lead stuff as he was more interested in the dogs on either side of him! It will all come in time though so i' m not worried. Enjoy the experience of the show but don't worry if it's not a success first time!

Just had a look at Milo in your profile he looks lovely:D How is he settling in? Do you have anymore pics of him as we are all suckers for puppy pics:D

  • Thank you very much. I have uploaded another pic much the same as last one. Milo is a typical puppy with the patience of a newt or smaller so taking photos isn't easy as you will know. However he is settling in nicely and gets on well with the two Ridgebacks. I will send more photos as time goes by. Great forum by the way and very busy!:)

Oh yes I think we all know about that with our B's. Glad he has settled well with the RR's, they do seem to go well together. We have someone else in the breed in the UK who has both RR's and B's. Look forward to seeing more pics as he grows:D

  • I was little bit affraid tahat Mody wiould be interested in other dogs and not in me, but how I was suprised (and all the audience including judge) when lttle princess was running by me and lookind at my face with head queeny up….she was excellent, made for ring:) I think she was really enjoying the attention:)
