    Ono is a Hawaiian word, used to describe something that is 'the best' AND happens to be very basenji appropriate :) We hesitated naming her something that so strongly resembled 'no' but we don't use 'no' very much in our training, we say 'hey' to get their attention and then give them another cue to follow when we are redirecting their behaviour. The pups love the huge costco bed, and I love the great cedar smell :)

    Both my pups have their "place" in the bed. Bandit on the left, head down, and Hunter waaayyyy down on the right. Even on hot Summer nights it's the same position!

    That is too funny!!! I love how Mick's forhead is squished down into one bit wrinkle. Cory is allowed to sit on Jayden's head but Jayden can't get away with sitting on hers….but then, Jayden also weighs about 8 or 9 lbs more than Cory so I guess it is reasonable. Pat

    That pup is soooooooooooooooooooo sweet. Do we only call our Bs sweet when they are sleeping? (Kinda like ours kids when they had been wretched during the day, but are angels once they are sleeping soundly?) Just realized, we are special people as I earlier this am told my Joey what a good boy he is and so sweet! ;D
