Recently BRAT was asked to help re-home three basenji pups from a going-out-of-business breeder in Omaha, NE. We were unable to find foster homes before the group who rescued them, so we offered them a courtesy posting. These adorable pups are now vetted and ready to be adopted. @Rocky1: Don't worry anyone,Dogs are coming home to me here at Jaroufa Hounds. Richard always knew that he could bring dogs back and his son finally found me. Anubis and Anuket will stay with me until a home is found or I will keep them . Kathryn Are they still available? How old are they? We presently have a 20 month old r/w well behaved basenji that we are thinking about getting a playmate for. Brindle is prefered but will consider another r/w or Tri from as young as a puppy to 2 years old male. Thank you Ruben

I want a tri so bad. He is a beautiful boy was he on there before he seems familiar. I view bratt every day several times a day. The other that facinates me is tut he is so different but beautiful. I wish hubby was with me on fostering I would love to do that.

I wanted to get Roo but I have a couple family members that have been ill and don't want to have to board a newly arrived furry friend. So … we will wait to adopt again.

@Jennifer: Thank you! I am in Fairfield about halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento. I dont have any pics of her…sorry :( I would contact BRAT and some of the local shelters, as I said many are No Kill Shelters….. Good luck

@ChaseandZahrasmom: I just have to comment on what a beautiful website this is! Yeah - the folks in this group are wonderful and supportive for the Basenji breed. We adopted Daisy from them. Did anyone see how beautiful the B's are? They still need homes.
