Picked up Chopper today!
I posted a greeting thread, but for people who didn't see it: This is my first B foster. While he is definitely snippy toward stranger's he's taken RIGHT to my fiance and I, and we're just thrilled to death to be fostering him. Posting a quick couple of pictures before I return to the group. I never even realized the basenji spot on the couch was so empty!
Better pics soon, I promise.

Beautiful face, that is one handsome Basenji, looks a lot like my red & white, Sahara except mine has the white stripe down the front of her head. He is a jem!

Thanks everyone!
He's tried to take my hand off twice now, haha. :) Luck appreciated.
Definitely has a Jekyll & Hyde thing going on, but the Jekyll side is so lovable! -

He's a good looking boy! Good luck with the fostering. It takes a special person to care for an animal who's behaviors are not up to par as to what we expect in a "pet" and an even more special person to help the animal to reach its full potiental and then give it up to a new owner. :)

I'm glad he found an understanding foster home. What's his story? No breeder? I notice he doesn't have dew claws.

AKC registered! Champion bloodline! ..Pet store puppy.
No dewclaws, nope. Pretty ugly looking scars from their removal, though.
