I know how you feel. It's horrible to live close to animal neglect. My new next-door neighbors leave their two dogs out 24/7– heat, rain, snow, lightning storm. They have a big fenced yard, but almost no shade. Of course, the dogs bark non-stop. There's no talking to people like that-- I've already been told to mind my own business. Maybe your neighbor will take you up on your offer... but probably not. It's sad.

"He just went berserk," said Daniel Medley, general manager of the Wookey Hole Caves near Wells, England, where hundreds of bears were chewed up Tuesday night by the 6-year-old Doberman pinscher named Barney.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ROTFLMAO. That is like the funniest article I have ever read. Now my coworkers really think I'm crazy!
What fun that doberman must have had before being caught stuff-handed. :p

Ya think it was wise to put a playful dobey in to guard toy stuffed animals? Costly mistake …. Hope everyone, including the owner has insurance!

OMG  HOW FUUNNNNYYYYYY!!! BWAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!

Hope the dog is ok, and not dumped because of this error in doggie judgement.
Sorry, to bring this humor down, but I worry what they will do to the dog.
sigh. -

sigh.It was more of an error in human judgment. They should fire the people responsible for thinking a dog was a good idea. But for sure, I do hope the dog is OK.

A dog would not necessarily be a bad idea in a normal museum setting but if you look at the pictures of that museum everything was displayed in such a way that it would be a huge temptation for an animal. In fact, it would be a huge temptation for a small child that was under adult supervision.
