Not quite on topic, but if you ever experience problems with your dog's digestion just after opening a new bag of dry food, be suspicious. It is definitely possible to get a "bad" bag of food. If you have multiple dogs, this problem is easier to be aware of. A friend got blindsided when a new shipment of feed for her goats pretty much wiped out the whole herd because of a mistake in formulation. This can happen with dog food too!! It is one of the first questions an astute vet will ask with an unexplained digestive upset.
Changing food
-
Hello! Looking to change Chupy's food from puppy food (we were doing blue buffalo dry puppy) to regular food now. Any suggestions in a brand? He is 10 mo now and I know I am way over due to upgrade to adult food.

I never ever feed puppy food, so I'm glad you are changing. Since he's on blue buffalo, and it's a good brand, why not switch to that? I actually rotate foods.

Same comments as Debra, I have never used puppy for any of my pups from the time they were old enough to eat solid food.... Don't particularly love Blue Buffalo, but any high quality kibble is fine. I use a number of different ones that way I can always change foods without any tummy upset.... I do like Fromm's Surf and Turf
