• This is Ren, She is the oldest of our Seven Dogs…..she's 12. We got Ren from a Lady near us who kept about 40 of these little nippers in a small trailer. Dogtarvlr(wife) waded through her yard with a stick in her hand fending off the little yappers trying to bite her feet. When Dogtravlr finally got to see Ren for the first time she was in a bird cage with all her litter mates, thus...we named her........ Ren....the kids nicknamed her Peepy and it's stuck. Ren has had the wonderful experience of watching all these Senjis move in.:rolleyes:She get's along with them all, but is careful with Max, she won't come anywhere near him when he's sleeping. She seems to enjoy hanging with Raven and the two younger dogs. She does all the talking at the fence for the group.;) She loves the added protection they provide.:D Enjoy!

  • How cute she is! And she looks like quite the "queen bee" up there! What sweet pictures and of course, I'll say it again, beautiful dogs…all of them!

  • Ren is adorable! More power to her for living with 6 'senjis.
Where did you get your saddle marked? That's the first one I've seen other than in a book!

She lays up high on the couch sometimes, other times she a Basenji pillow. They all will just lay right on top of her, except Max.

Ren will only help watch the little one's when they're sleeping.;)

Susan Coe/Akuaba Basenjis when she lived in PA. Avongara Sineri(Woody) was the father. As far as I know Woody only had one litter in the US and his brother was a saddle. Woody is in Finland now.

  • Beautiful African girl🙂

  • Thanks for all the pics! Just keep 'em coming. Is brindle and saddle the same?

  • I am sorry:) Basenji_Boy empty you case( private messages):)

One of our breeders would be able to answer that more accuately than I.

It's like a flaw in the brindle coat itself…...I think???😕

    Anyone?
