My dogs are secured in crates or the bedroom (Rotties were okay behind a gate, I'd never trust my basenjis with one) if the door is open. Every time, every single time, for my entire adult life. So yeah, dog bolts, the person failed to secure the dog. Unless some person enters if you don't know it, tree falls on house, burglar comes in, police raid your house by mistake etc… if YOU open a door, YOU are responsible, not the dog.

I'm pulling for you Arya… may you find your forever home fast.

She looks so sweet, hope she finds a home soon.

That is in my area…I wonder if I could talk my BF into a second basenji

Thanks for posting this Clay.

Moth, often 2 are easier than one! They keep each other occupied.

As a general FYI, Arya is currently in Rochester, MN but I'm sure a meet and greet can be arranged in any surrounding areas depending on the availability of the foster mom. For those interested, please go to http://www.bcosw.org/rescue.html to inquire or submit an application.

She is a pretty girl. I have yet to have a b/w b. Maybe one day.
