My Granddoggy's Front Leg Went Out of Place

    My Grandoggy, Jasper's, front leg went out of place when he jumped down from the couch. He limped for a few seconds and then was O.K. He didn't act like the leg was hurting him when I palpated the leg and joint. The affected joint seemed to be the shoulder of the left leg–closest to the body. He is 5 years old. What could this be?

    Pat, I will email it to you separately. Apparently, it just wants to save is as a picture and when I reduce it, it goes all blurry. If anyone else would like it, email me to shadow_brat2004@yahoo.ca This is just on more thing on my list of why not to stop strip testing.

    How are UTI's caused?

    Anytime I have a dog that has a UTI, I add extra water to their food. I also give Cranberry pills. I sometimes give Vitamin C but that is based on the ph level of the urine and the recommendation of the vet. My dogs rarely have crystals but perhaps I catch the UTIs early. It seems like rescues I get from shelters almost always have UTIs. I think they get it from either holding it too long because they do not want to get their kennel dirty or because they eat dry food and drink water separately. Jennifer
