Here is an article quoting the man that bred the first Labradoodles and how he now regrets making the cross. Of particular interest when you read this, note that in a litter you could get NO non-allergenic pups and that testing of each pup is needed. He also quotes all the other health concerns with this cross.

This is exactly why purebred dog breeders of all breeds cringe at the idea of people "making" their own breeds.
