LOVED the costume, so it was an easy vote. And, if you're looking to donate food to needy dogs, might I suggest a basenji-related rescue group especially if they give out coupons/certificates instead of the actual bag. I know Colorado Basenji rescue has a glut of dog in right now. I'd imagine Medfly or BRAT are also needy. (I just sent CBR a coupon for a bag of food that Zest won, much to Z's dismay as she was looking forward to eating the entire bag in one sitting.)

Aww…they are beautiful.
Does Cleo's saddle pretty much always look the same? I have heard some say the saddle comes and goes with coat changes, and some say the saddle has faded at maturity?
And, how is she registered? Brindle with saddle?

Cleo's coat has always looked dark, if it weren't for the stripes her coat would look beagle like…    When we first got her I was really hoping the saddle wasn't a saddle and it would fade and go away. It hasn't and isn't.:( Now, I like her look, she is unique and so many friends of ours think she's the most interesting one we have. She certainly is the Queen Bee of the group.......none of them mess with her. She can look very intimidating.
She is Akuaba's sandalwood….....I think they list her as a saddle.......for those curious minds:D
