We're having another lure coursing fun day near Racine, WI on October 2nd, 2010. If you live in the general SE WI area, please think about joining us. It was a lot of fun last time.

i would love to see the nosework. they have such anexcellent sense of smell. my old dog sniffed a baby bunny totally hidden under a bush from 5 feet away. He went right under the bush and I heard a loud squeek! i had no idea what he was doing at the time, he killed the bunny fortunately / unfortunately.

We are coming to Racine next weekend to run three of the basenjis in the LGRA trail. That is always a fun one to try practice runs for new dogs.

We're thinking about having another lure coursing fundraiser in November. It was so much fun this last time. Here is the photo album from the photographer. Lots of different breeds of dogs.

Nemo - can't believe he actually coursed. He's a bit of a goof (and looks like a kangaroo in the pic 🙂 ). I was more thrilled to watch him run than Zoni. He zoned out the second time to sniff some flowers and didn't complete the course. 😃

It was a great trial… One of my girls (who lives with Ann Patterson-Hine) is a new Dual Champion with back to back 5pt majors from this weekend.... YEA!!!! She is now DC* Tanza's Almazi Madini,SC,RN,CD,CGC,FCH (aka Crystal). Thanks to her Mom, Ann for putting on the Obedience Titles!!!! And she is loving her new baby B Brother.... Kobey.....

Crystal is 6 1/2... and we have been trying to get her lure majors for quite a while... Crystal, while a good runner would beat herself by running the course before it ever started... LOL...
