    Very cute! Loved this thread about a Dachi, but it made me cry, more than once. - http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=577445 ETA: The thread is a little long.as it encompasses a few months, but you can skip all that are not posted by the OP. Still, a heartwarming and heartbreaking thing.

    @Kipawa: I rode quarterhorses for many years - I just love em, and yours looks to be in good form. The picture of the baby rats is incredible. Thanks for sharing your photos. Thank you :) he does himself proud. Although i actually have trouble keeping weight off him :P unlike his paddock friends (a stockhorse and a thoroughbred). I love the western stuff. QH's are my fav, beautiful nature with a hint of cheekiness. He's starting to loose his awkward look from when he was growing (the see-saw look lol withers higher, withers lower as they grow lol) and hes now filling out which i love - i love chunky qhs :) Rats are amazing :) Glad you like the photo

    @Schouiffy: Well, my pics are not uploaded quite yet.. but I have a Paso Fino mare I keep out by Stanford, and I had a half Arabian half Hanoverian as my jumping sport horse. =) I'm a major sucker for the Arabians.. =) Ooooh! I can't wait for the pictures. We had a half-Arab growing up - he was a handful! Beautiful, a bit high strung, very fun to ride. But he was so sweet - he turned to "mush" when we put a child on him. He really knew…I have very fond memories of him.
