I had a somewhat similar experience. Joey had a seizure which I correlate to taking Simparica. He looked terrible so took him to the vet when the first seizure happened and he was late Stage 2. Put him on Royal Canin kidney kibble and Hills kidney wet food and 4 years later he has only had 1 more seizure and his kidney values have remained constant. I will believe your homemade version is most likely better if you have the correct proportions. All the best to your Bs! Joey will be 15 in November.
Accidently bought wrong food

I have switched to Taste of Wild because I finally found a store around me that carried it. The first time I started with bison and venison but today I accidently bought roasted fowl I dont have enough of the other left for a gradual switch does it matter if using the same name brand?

My dogs love the roasted foul and have never had any digestive difficulties with it. We have switched back and forth between all the varieties without any problems and one of my whippets has a very sensitive digestive system.

I don't think you will have a problem….. I have switched between varieties with Franie and C-Me with no problems
