    @Shaye's: I love the poem on the rock as well. Lucky little Kipawa - lucky mom too. At this particular beach, there are quite a few rocks inscribed with various partial poems or eloquent thoughts. People can also pay for a bench as a tribute to a loved one. The beach has a wonderful feeling to it, a truly welcoming area for dogs and humans alike.

    I will miss the snow when it disappears :( Yes, we do live near a dog park, its right behind my house :) And we're surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland so its ideal for the dogs!

    That's true! Fiji doesn't like to get her feet wet and heaven forbid she get rained on. Bongo has the same aversion to rain, but has no problem chasing another dog or a stick or whatever into the water at the dog beach, Silly 'senjis!
