Not quite true, if you have HDTV, USA channel is not delayed and is on at 5pm… as it is on the regular cable station. Strange as that is... I remember seeing that last year and thinking, I need to get High Def...gggg

Related to Westminster I imagine, if you watch the CBS Early Show on Saturday you might see the #1 basenji of 2009, Blade (MBIS Am/Can CH AB-Rafiki The Icon of Cool). Don't know what time so I'll be DVR-ing it.

Note: Blade is the only one I know of, there might be more on the show. But I'm guessing he's representing the breed.

My bad, Blade is on Saturday, not Monday (I corrected the original post).

Thanks for the viewing info! I recently found out Callie's sire, Sundiata's Pi R Squared will be shown! Can't wait to see it!

Saw both Blade and Erin during a cutaway, but they didn't make it onto the actual show here. Did they make it in one of the places not on tape delay?

I saw them at the 15 min mark walking down a hallway. They also showed Erin one or two other times in quick cutaways, once with another dog she handles and what looked like her hotel room full of all her dogs. They seemed to focus on the more popular breed contenders.

I have tickets for the Monday show. I'm so excited that I get to go! If anyone has any tips on transportation or anything I'd really like to hear them. I'm checking out the PATH train from Jersey City but don't know anything about how it works. Anybody have any suggestions?

I noticed 16 Basenjis had entered:

Anyone on the forum have their dog entered and how does one qualify to enter this show?

They need to be AKC champions as there is only Best of Breed judging, the top 5 in breeding show standings get an automatic invite, any other with a finished AKC Champion can enter, but you need to be quick about it. Since there is a limit on the total number of entries they will except, usually it is filled within a few hours of entries being opened. Here is a link to the premium that has the entry details

It is filled within a few HOURS?!?! Wow! So if you have a dog that you think is worthy, how in the world do you make sure you make it in?

Most people, handlers use an entry services and also they usually enter on line

Breed results are up. Congrats to BOB, Blade, and all the other competitors. I hear the hound group is up first.

Hansome boy indeed! Congrats to the winners. Can't wait for the videos to be uploaded 😃

Yay Blade!
He is all around gorgeous, but I especially love his hocks and long second thighs. I think he and Della are the only B's I know with hocks that really catch my eye that way. I can't explain why, they just look really beautiful to me.
