Ah ok cool thanks, I had something like that when Safi was smaller and it was the most successful for sure. She outgrew it quite quickly though

I can't listen to that, it would wake my girl up and well... I'm not into a "sing along" just now. ;) I will say that many canines howl and yodel and bay (at the moon, whenever a fire truck passes, etc.). I'm not certain that any one breed is distinctive enough to have a sound all their own, but many a proud owner would probably assert so.

My undergraduate degree was in geophysics with a minor in applied math. I name all my Basenjis after Indian mathematicians. My current Basenjis are Madhava of Sangamagrama (Madhava for short) and Bramagupta (Bramagupta for short). They do respond to their "short" names.

Hello, Certainly low thyroid levels can lead to seizures and passing out or low energy. Delta was put on thyroid meds at about 10 yrs old. Are the seizures full, eyes rolled back in head, shaking, loosing control of bladder etc. or are they milder? If full, your vet may want to consider low dose phenobarb or some such. The more ominous possibility is some sort of brain tumor leading to the seizures. You may want to think about having that checked out. Tom
