Rally's Pups

Show Off Your Dog

  • I love the ears on the bottom pic, center puppy! We call that the "flying nun" position! Not that I want to ask this….but are you keeping any? It must be hard to think of them not being there...

  • We are planning on keeping 1 though they will have to get along with the three we already have. As for sending them to their new homes, by the time they are ready to leave here, they are driving me nuts because they are so rambunctious and their new owners have sort of become part of the family during the process of watching them grow. I get to see the pups from my first litter periodically through the year at events like lure trials and the puppy match. Their owners also send photos of them and I know they are in fabulous homes.

  • Aha…that makes sense. I guess you'll evaluate and choose which one suits your household. That's great that the owners still keep in touch - kind of one large extended family. I know that I would have a hard time letting all of them go, but now I understand...the picture is great. It looks like she may have been trying to get away from them -- but they found her!

Any idea at all which Pup it is yet?

  • Most likely it will be Sophie, the black and white with the white blaze on her face. My boy really doesn't like other boys so I just don't see him accepting a boy into the pack. So far the girls have been pretty tolerant of everyone though things may still change in the next few weeks. By about 8 weeks I will have a pretty good idea of what their temperaments are like.

  • They are so incredibly CUTE!! I wish I could just grab one & make sure it never grows up :D

You must be so strong to be able to give them away in 3 weeks…I don't think I could after watching them be born & then turn into such cute little puppies.

  • They are so adorable! I love the face on the last picture…someone clever will have to caption it!

Yeah, someone said….flying nun ears. Yoda, never thought of that one.

Some of ours make a Chewbacca kind of sound.:D

  • Could Yoda be part senji???

  • The pups had several visitors today. After a long morning of socializing and playing they all crashed in their bed.

  • omg, they are sooo big! what happened?! really really adorable!

  • It is hard to believe but the pups are 6 weeks old. It is getting harder to get pictures that aren't of just bits and pieces as they race around the yard or house.

So true, but still beautifull pups :)

  • They've grown right before our eyes. Seems like last week they were born. (time is flying) I'm so glad you're posting pictures their development for us. They are growing right into Basenji shape.

  • They are just adorable. It's amazing how fast they've grown. They are beautiful dogs. Thank you for sharing them with us.

  • Totally adorable little creatures :D

Have to say that my favorite is Sophie, would not have hesitate a second to buy a girl like that, she is just so very appealing and I absolutly love their pedigree.

I actually co-own one of Beverly Blands breeding, a girl called Jini, the first Avongara in Sweden :) I am so intrested in the new-african blood.

Wish you the very best of luck with your little babies :)

Hope to see more pics in this thread later on :D

  • I just commented in the thread with the pics of your brindles that our litters are cousins. I really like Bev's dogs and have been lucky to get an opportunity to spend time with them. This is my first half Af litter and I am thoroughly enjoying them. I am very pleased with Sophie and it looks like she will fit in with our pack.

Usually we put presents under the tree, but I just don't dare since getting the B girls! Presents all hide in closets until it's actually time for them to be opened. We always wrap special treats for the girls and the cat as well, so they can tear something open to get to the goodies. Then the treats keep them busy while everyone else is unwrapping. The great-grandkids have been warned NOT to leave their stuff on the floor or where they look like dog toys on tables, etc.

Snorky, Yes, Jason is very talented with the camera, although he won't agree if you ask him…so silly! Yes, Roo still fits in the bike trailer (Burley Tail Wagon.) Actually both dogs can go in it at the same time, there is a cloth divider so Bonzo doesn't have to put up with Roo's antics on the trip. Miranda
