Timesthemyth: he is something alright…lol. I think I've gotten used to it and perhaps desensitized. I don't realize how bad it looks until I read it back on the forum..lol He's gotten way better since being a pup...I always have to be super vigilant with him though..in regards to other people, other dogs, objects and things...it's constant and perpetual toddlerness! My next one will be well behaved, easy and reliable..I'm determined for that to be the case!

@Shaye's: Cairo is a beautiful boy! He looks nearly exactly like my girl, Shaye - so of course he is the best looking guy around. @Patty: Lovely pictures - he's a very smart boy. Thank you for all the kind comments. I agree (and he does also) that he is great looking boy. Very smart as well. Me and my parents joke around all the time, saying that he is a celebrity around our town. Everywhere I take him, people go out of their way to see, pet, and inquire about him. Cairo's doctor said she only knows of one other Basenji in our area, I have yet to see.

@SenjiShowgirl: oh your poor B's! you cruel, evil mommy! tho i would like to see how Zumi would respond to dock jumping as we go swimming all the time. He always jumps right into the lake or river whenever we go. Mojo's forward shot is one of my favorites! and i agree, if looks could kill you'd be hospitalized. when did you do dock jumping! Well we haven't done any yet. lol This was just a first swimming lesson. And at home we've been working on building up drive for retrieving a special wubba toy that can go in the water. They're all retrieving at home pretty good, but Mojo and Cleo have already had some retrieval training.

We keep a little plastic wading pool out for the boys and Eli will get in it and stand on very hot days. He doesn't particularly like to be splashed though and he HATES the water hose.
