Diet for an animal is certainly good, but what about the pain that a dog experiences when it has cancer, medications can also cause severe harm to health in a large dose, and so I would still test the possibilities of CBD products for the treatment of pain syndromes in dogs. Pet Massage Therapy
-
For my basenjis' Christmas/Birthday gifts this year I got them all a massage from a pet massage therapist. One of the members of our local racing club has a pet massage business and I talked to her about getting an appointment for Rio because she is often very tight and seems to have a hard time letting go of her stress. In the end I decided to get Rio a 1 hour massage and the rest all got 1/2 hour massages.
I am really impressed with all that it has done for Rio. I didn't realize how much tension she was holding onto until after her massage was done. She has been in a much better mood since having her massage 2 weeks ago. She plays more and her posture is much better too. I was given instructions in how to massage her on a regular basis to help keep her loose which she enjoys.
Does anyone else use pet massage?

Diggie has gotten a few massages. There is usually a booth at the agility trials around here. He has been known to jump up on Jim's table as we passed in order to let me know it was time for a massage.

I've been curious about pet massage and finding some books on it. One of the clicker training books I have mentions the t-touch method but I haven't really researched it much to know if it is a good method or not.

Yes, we massage our dogs ourselves.. they love it so much and when there's one ready he sneaks up between me and the one who's getting the massage
I learned it at school, it's called T-touch in Holland, it's healthy and the love you give and recieve is so great!

http://www.ttouch.com/I don't know that for sure, it seems thats it's alike to the website.
I read a lot at the website thats it's used for some problems.
We also learned about it, that it bonds(is that the right word?) with your animan and that it's good for the muscles and blood circulations. We learned about it a few times, how to use it on dogs, cats and horses.
It's a sort of studie here. -
