    Hi everyone,

    writing from Quebec Canada, French canadian.

    I'm the owner of a second Basenji, first one passed away on a stupid accident on beginning of October, so we have a second one now and we love her so much. We still miss the other one, but life must go on !

    Her name is Mia and shes 2 month and a half

    sorry to hear about your first dog. Hopefully you can protect the new one from such events. We do the best we can, but things happen. :(

    Welcome aboard, but do share his registered name ? Who are Dad and Mom and what was his date of birth so we can be sure to add him to the Basenji pedigree on-line database (with a photo ???) for the world to share him. http://www.pedigrees.zandebasenjis.com/

    Congrats on your puppy…. has he (or his sire/dam) been health tested for Fanconi and PRA with the DNA test? Very important this if this has not been done for his Sire/Dam that you have your boy tested. And even if they have been tested, never hurts to follow up with having him done also.

    I was struck by the fact that your Bernese lived to be 20 years old! Wow! I know they have had concerns with cancer in the breed, and very few of them live that long. How wonderful for you that you got to have her for that long. Terry
